How we make our carved wooden earrings:

The beautiful, unique wooden earrings, carefully created with rich natural and organic wood are made by hand. Kona Blue and GARUDA have been working with traditional artists for over a decade to create these amazing wearable works of wood art. The process we use takes over 6 months from beginning to end to ensure that the final product is of high quality and does not have any flaws. The wood takes time to be prepared to begin the process of creating a lasting piece of jewelry or pair of earrings. It must be dried very slowly in a place where the temperature stays stable, and away from rain and moisture so that the wood is strong, clean and has no faults so that your earrings and jewelry last as long as you hope and always look beautiful. We are sometimes so excited about how beautiful some of the wood is, that when we are getting close to ready to use it, all we can do is think about all the great earring designs we can make that will be perfect in a certain color and pattern in a choice piece of material. The wooden tribal earrings sometimes look best in a very solid color, where the wood hoop earrings and spiral earrings have a brilliant shine and life when made in wood that has burls and stripes. For our selection of gauges and fake gauge earrings we choose from a large variety of wood with different character, depending on the final design we have in mind for you.

Our natural jewelry has a 6 month guaranty and warranty.

The making of our earrings is patiently done with very steady hands using a series of fine tools for each stage, and allowing the final pair of earrings to reveal itself slowly from the wood is very important, because once cut, the wood cannot be repaired if a mistake is made. As we strive for the best quality so that our warranty has a good reputation, we work with care to always check to be sure the wood we are working with is perfect and strong. We offer a 6 month replacement guaranty for every pair of wood carved earrings we create. All you need to do is send us a photo and your order details if there is a problem, and we will send you a new pair!

How do I put on my wooden post earrings?
Gently hold the wooden earring around your ear lobe. Get the post of the earrings started so it is through both the front of the earring and into the opening of your ear piercing. Twist the post and gently and insert it through your piercing and the back of the earrings, maybe wiggling the post slightly until it finds its way through. Make the post feel snug, but not to tight. Please do not try to force them. If the post or peg for your tribal earrings feels too pointy or sharp, use a nail file of bit of fine sandpaper to soften the ends. you can clip a very tiny piece off with a nail clipper, as well. The posts should be snug, but not jammed in. Be gentle with yourself and your jewelry. We also offer a range of fake gauges if you prefer something more bold and simple, as well as sterling silver posts that have a normal earring back. use the search bar to find them..
